Exposed: How Nigerian Army Officers are Snatching Ballot Boxes During Bayelsa Poll

A video footage of an army officer reportedly snatching a ballot box while being hindered by some Southern Ijaw youths has surfaced online.

A new video has emerged showing a mob in a scuffle with a man alleged to be a soldier with the Nigerian Army over abduction of ballot boxes.

According to reports, the alleged soldier distrupted elections in the Southern Ijaw local government area leading to gross discrepancies in the local government as many indigenes faulted the electioneering process.

This however forced the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to declare the election in Bayelsa inconclusive as the election in Southern Ijaw which is the largest local government area in the state was marred with violence and electoral malpractices.
