Priest Steals $1million From Church to Pay for Drugs and Male Prostitutes [PICS]

A priest was slapped with a lawsuit after being accused of stealing donations, which he used to pay for drugs and prostitutes, according to court documents in New York.

53-year-old Peter Miqueli of the Bronx, was hit with a $1 million lawsuit after allegedly stealing donations given to the church to spend on his home, drugs and male prostitutes.

Miqueli stole donations from the St. Frances de Chantal’s Church since he started working there 3 years ago. He also stole from the St. Frances Cabrini Church over a 10 year period.

Miqueli spend the money on home renovations in New Jersey, drugs and the services of male prostitutes. Members of the church have urged Miqueli to resign.

Miqueli is accused of not paying his employees correctly and on time, screaming at children and adults during confession and taking a lot of vacations.

Members have also urged the Archbishop of New York, Timothy M. Dolan, to remove Miqueli. After a lot of pressure, Miqueli announced his resignation from the church.
